Stettler Train Station
* Story Behind the Image *
The moment I captured this image was a moment my imagination ran wild. While sitting at this train station on one quiet evening in Stettler, I was viewing the grain elevator and passenger car and wondered what it would have like living here in the 1920s and 1930s. I imagined how bustling this station must have been. And, how busy the grain elevator must have been for the local farmers. My hope is the viewer of my art would sense the nostalgia and feeling of what life was like living on the prairies, way back when!
