Art print of sweeping canola fields of Alberta with the Butze Grain Elevator standing like a beacon over the Canadian Prairies. Big sky landscape photography.

Beacon Over the Canola

* Story Behind the Image *

When I took this image, it was a satisfying moment as a photographer because the image summed up my childhood memories. Memories of my life growing up on the prairies, my obsession with canola fields and trains, my connection with Alberta’s big skies....everything.

Have you ever intensely connected with an image and said “Yup! Story of my life!” 😉
