* Story Behind the Image*

A summer Alberta Storm brewing over the Ghost Town of Sharples in Alberta Badlands. Image features the abandoned P & H Grain Elevator along a lonely gravel road.

I was here for almost an hour and during that time the clouds changed from clear blue sky (which was photographically boring IMO) to this delicious cauldron of photographic awesomeness!). I can see why storm chasers love this stuff! Storm clouds have so much texture and layers!

I love Alberta storms, they’re so amazing wouldn’t you agree? 😉
